For those of us who have been involved in digital photography since the early days (when it used to be called “filmless photography,” because not all the cameras were actually digital), the name QuickTake is quite familiar. It was Apple Computer’s very early, very low resoution (640x480) digital camera, which was the same as the Kodak D50. (Both cameras were made by Chinon.)
Today, QuickTake refers to a screen capture utility for Palm devices, which we use whenever we do a review of Palm software.
